ClaireViolet (it/its) is a transsexual 35mm film photographer from sunny Capitol Hill, Seattle.

Its panoramic work explores depersonalization and the mechanical. Its desire is to depict scale, and an appreciation for making organization from chaos.

Exhibitions & Publications

• ClaireViolet's photographic work was exhibited in a solo gallery show at Elevation Project ↗ (Seattle) in January 2026, featuring a broad overview of its work.
• Its work was also shown as part of Hearth and Home ↗, a curated exhibition for the inaugural Trans Art Fest in New York City, at 3rd Story Gallery (Brooklyn, NY) from May 16th through June 2026.
• It has been published in the second edition of Easel ↗, a “print-first photographic journal made by transsexuals.”
